Do we have thoughts on the NCAA accommodating BYU?


Avoiding topics of religion as best as possible here. If BYU makes it to the sweet-16, the NCAA will adjust the tournament schedule so their 3rd round game would be on a Saturday instead of Sunday.

On the one hand, you could argue a team shouldn't get special consideration. And in this case, two entire regions (8 teams) would have their 3rd round games switched.

But on the other hand, in this day of so much social pressure, it's somewhat praiseworthy that one institution's beliefs can still be honored and respected.

I lean toward the second notion, but not by much.
